Sebastian & the Transformers: The Starlight Shard
Sebastian & the Transformers, part 3. A free five-minute bedtime story from CloudSheep.
With the Crystal of the Deep safely tucked away, the team set off for tall, twinkly Starlight Mountain to find the next treasure. Their old friend Onyx knew a shortcut, he said, and led them up a winding path. But at the top waited a surprise: a cave with a shimmering bubble as round as a soap bubble, and — pop! — it gently closed around the whole team like a big, wobbly balloon.
Onyx looked down at his paws, a little sad. "I made a mistake," he admitted. "The Shadow Beast asked me to slow you down, and I listened. I'm sorry." Sebastian looked at him kindly. "Everybody makes mistakes," he said softly. "What matters is what you do next." Onyx's ears perked up at that.
Inside the wobbly bubble, clever Ray flipped open her diary, where she wrote down everything she learned. "Aha!" she whispered. "A bubble like this pops with a bright burst of light!" But where would they find a light bright enough way up here in the dark?
Suddenly, from deep in the cave, a beam of pure starlight blazed out — SHINE! — and popped the bubble with a happy little sparkle, setting everyone free. The light gathered itself into a small, glittering shard and drifted into Sebastian's hands. It was the Starlight Shard itself, and it had shone its brightest just to help them.
Now the team had two treasures, and one to go: the Flame Stone, resting near a warm, sleepy volcano. Onyx took a deep breath. "Let me help make things right," he said, "and lead you there — the friendly way this time." Sebastian grinned and clapped him on the back. "Now that's the Onyx we know."
So the whole team set off together under a sky full of stars — Sebastian, Ray, Boulder, Onyx, Ember, and Taylor, six friends side by side. The last treasure was waiting, and a brave new day would bring the final part of their adventure. But for now, the moon was high and their eyes were heavy. Snuggle down, close your eyes, and dream of brave friends. Goodnight.
