Privacy Policy
What we keep, why, and who helps us make your stories.
What we collect
- Your email address and sign-in details (or your Google sign-in).
- What you type to make a story: a child’s first name, their age, what they like, and any friends or family you add. Please use first names only.
- The stories, pictures and voices we make for you, and which ones you have read.
- That you agreed to these Terms, and when.
- What you bought and when, if you buy diamonds. Your card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or keep your card number.
- A story idea that our safety check refused, with the account it came from. We keep it as a safety record, so that we can explain a suspension, review it if you ask, and meet our legal duties. It stays if the account is deleted.
What we never do
- No ads, and we never sell or rent anyone’s information.
- No photos, voice recordings or location of your child.
- No chat, messages or public profiles. Nobody outside your account sees your stories.
Who helps us make your stories
To write, check, draw and read a story, we send the story details you typed (never your email) to these services, only to make that story:
- OpenRouter, which passes the words to AI models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, to write the story and check it is safe;
- fal, to draw the pictures;
- Inworld, to read the story aloud;
- Supabase, which stores your account and stories;
- Vercel, which runs the website;
- PostHog, which counts page visits. It gets no story details, names or email, and sets no cookies;
- Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.
If you buy diamonds, Stripe takes the payment. It gets your email and the card details you type on its page, and nothing about your stories.
Deleting your information
Delete your account from the Account page and we delete your stories, pictures and voice recordings with it. If you can’t sign in, write to support@cloudsheep.app and we will do it for you.
Children
CloudSheep accounts are only for adults. If you think a child has made an account, write to support@cloudsheep.app and we will delete it.
