Terms

The rules for using CloudSheep, in plain words.

Who can use CloudSheep

Accounts are for grown-ups. You must be 18 or older and a parent or guardian of the children you make stories for. Children can listen and read along with you, but they should not have their own account.

Made with AI

Stories, pictures and voices in CloudSheep are made with AI.

Every story idea and every finished story is checked for safety before you see it, and unsafe ideas are refused. No check is perfect, so please read or listen first, and tell us straight away if anything is not right for a child (use “Report this page” in the story, or write to support@cloudsheep.app).

What's not allowed

CloudSheep stories are for young children. You may not ask for a story that contains:

  • sexual content or nudity;
  • anything that puts a child at risk;
  • violence, weapons or gore;
  • self-harm;
  • drugs, alcohol or smoking;
  • hate toward any group of people;
  • horror meant to frighten;
  • real people who have not agreed to it;
  • ways around our safety checks.

We may refuse a request, remove a story, or close an account that breaks these rules.

Refused ideas and suspension

An automated safety check reads every story idea before anything is written. An idea that breaks the rules above is refused, and a refused idea is not charged. We keep refused ideas with your account so that a person can review them (see our Privacy Policy).

If five story ideas from your account are refused by our safety check, making new stories is suspended for that account. We warn you before that happens, and we email you when it does, with the reason and how to ask a person to look again. A suspended account can still read its stories and can still be deleted.

The check is automatic and can be wrong. If you think it was, contact us and a person will look. If we lift a suspension, the count starts again.

Your stories

Stories you make are yours to read and share with your family, as often as you like. We keep them in your account so you can read them again. You can delete your account, and every story in it, at any time from your Account page.

Diamonds

Some things cost diamonds, and every price is shown before you spend anything. Diamonds never expire. They have no cash value, and they cannot be transferred to another account or exchanged for money.

If a story fails to be made, its diamonds go back to your balance automatically. If one picture cannot be made, that page shows the picture from the page before it.

Buying diamonds

You can buy diamonds in packs, or get them every month with the monthly plan. Prices are in US dollars and are shown before you pay. Payments are taken by Stripe. We never see or keep your card number.

Refunds. You can get a refund for a diamond pack, or for a month of the monthly plan, if you ask within 14 days of the payment and none of the diamonds from that payment have been used. Write to support@cloudsheep.app from the email on your account. When we refund a payment, the diamonds from it are removed from your balance.

All other purchases are final, except where the law requires a refund. If you were charged twice or by mistake, write to us and we will fix it.

If your bank reverses a payment, the diamonds from that payment are removed. If some were already used, your balance goes below zero and you cannot make a story until it is covered. We may also pause the account until it is settled.

Monthly plan

The monthly plan charges your card every month until you cancel, and each paid month adds its diamonds to your balance. The price and the number of diamonds are shown before you start it. If the price changes, we will email you before your next charge.

You can cancel at any time from your Account page. The plan ends straight away, you keep every diamond you already have, and you are not charged again. Cancelling does not refund a month that has already been paid; the refund rule above still applies.

Changes and contact

If these Terms change, we will ask you to agree again before you keep using CloudSheep. Questions: support@cloudsheep.app. See also our Privacy Policy.
